The most recent feature is from Union 11 and also features a modern vintage film by our own First Kiss Films. It is also worth mentioning that this creative bride also has her own wedding invitation company Miss Prospect Heights. The wedding took place at the famed Notre Dame Cathedral Basilica on Sussex avenue with a reception following at the stunning National Art Gallery of Canada. this wedding features many beautiful personal details and custom stationary and a stunning dessert bar accented with elegant crown motif and some stunning Louboutins fit for a queen! The next feature is a whimsical chic wedding from Melanie Rebane of M Photography with a wedding reception and ceremony held at the Courtyard Restaurant in Ottawa’s historic Byward Market and getting ready photos at the Fairmont Chateau Laurier. Featuring copious amounts of fluffy pink peonies for both the brides bouquet and her bridesmaids and an eclectic mix of spring heirlom flowers designed my Mood Moss Flowers the spirit of this wedding was whimsical and charming. The bride created a vintage kissing booth and hand covered each other the tin cans in coordinating fabrics. They also worked with a graphic designer to create an illustrated invitation, program and menu – which is simply adorable. Other highlights include an epic Candy bar furnished by Westoboro’s The Candy Store, complimented by beautiful cakes from Buttercream Bakery. The bride wore a stunning Vera Wang wedding dress and was graced with the groom’s grandmother’s beautiful wedding ring. This is SO true. We actually had a bride and groom say to us pretty early on during a consultation a few months ago that it’s their stated goal to get their wedding featured in SMP! Lucky for them, it’s one of our stated goals for 2012 too
