We are excited to be attending the latest McCaffrey celebration. After 15 years of tradition in the bridal couture market, the celebrated iconic Canadian designer David McCaffrey will unveil his latest collection of wedding dresses, “Blanc et Noir” and his recently re-designed brand and Sussex avenue flagship boutique.
The collection of luxurious couture wedding dresses received international praise at New York City’s recent Bridal Market. The Knot, one of the world’s foremost bridal publications, awarded “editor’s pick” to the collection during Fashion Week.
“Blanc et Noir is a celebration of classic beauty, with a modern influence, embodying the essence of haute couture, with the very finest finishings in the world.”Among the collection highlights, are mermaid silhouettes and silk double face satin bodices accented by exquisite silk shantung, organza, tulle, French baby Alençon re-embroidered lace and Swarovski crystal beading,.
Each McCaffrey Haute Couture wedding dress is custom designed by David McCaffrey and is precisely crafted in the tradition of Haute Couture right here in Canada. The incorporation of built-in corsets completes the workmanship and finishings within the wedding dress, making it truly couture.
McCaffrey has continued his partnership with celebrated mezzo soprano, Wallis Giunta, as the face of this latest collection. Canadian Wallis Guinta can be seen in wearing McCaffrey Haute Couture in New York City, where she now lives and performs regularly at the Metropolitan Opera.
